Anna Burke is a versatile artist, adept in both painting and textile art. Inspired by the philosophy of SAORI, Burke began weaving in 2016, using an intuitive process to create textiles rich in color, texture, and movement. Her artistic process expanded in recent years when she began experimenting with watercolors. Like her weaving process, her painting practice is meditative and intuitive. The end result, typically painted on 6" x 6" white paper, are beautiful abstract geometric designs that she calls "towers." Burke has been an exhibiting artist at SAGE since 2018 and a studio artist since 2022.
