David Sulak (b. 1967) is a multi-disciplinary artist who lives and works in Louise, Texas. Sulak’s work is a shrine to everyday items that have made an impression on him: an Oldsmobile seen around his Texas town, his grandmother’s couch, the kitchen of the house he and his mother share. Some of his drawings portray a single object, while other pieces contain a multitude of these nostalgic objects. His sculptural representations are composed of paper and tape and contain astonishing detail, reserved only for things of great love. Sulak works  from memory and the occasional magazine image; whether he is making a sculptural rendering of the state school he attended or drawing a dashboard of car, his attention to minutia demonstrates his appreciation for the subject and the memory it conjures.

Sulak has been a gallery artist at SAGE Studio since June 2018. SAGE represented Sulak's work at New York City's Outsider Art Fair, the premiere art fair in the world for self-taught artists, in 2019 and 2020.
