Anthony Perez (b. 1995) is a Los Angeles-based visual artist who finds endless inspiration within the Marvel universe, the world of professional wrestling, and pop culture iconography. Perez works on his art every chance he gets–he keeps markers in his pockets and is constantly writing down notes and ideas. Perez recently began working with sumi ink, a medium that highlights his precise and expressive linework. His use of watercolor gives his paintings energy and movement. Perez is currently creating large-scale works on raw wood panels. To look at his work is to see the world through his eyes. Perez works out of Picnic Studio in Pasadena.
